
Ahead of the 80th International Motor Show in Palexpo-Geneva next month, automaker Porsche is introducing a brand new generation of its popular Cayenne Sports Utility Vehicle, leading the new design is the debut of the Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid. A blending of performance and efficiency, the Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid features a 3-liter supercharged V6 engine (333-hp) working in conjunction with an electric motor (47-hp). Controlling the 2 powerplants is the new Hybrid Manager and a separator clutch. Both units will work independently or together depending on the driving conditions and demands. Environmentally sound at around 34 mpg but never far from exhilarating power, the new Porsche will generate a total output of 380-hp with 427 lb/feet of torque, the same as the regular V8 powered Cayenne S. In addition, the new generation of Porsche Cayenne will sports an expanded interior and a new new Tiptronic S eight-speed automatic transmission with Auto-Start-Stop. Making it one of the most fuel efficient and advance vehicle in its class. The new Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid will go on sale at Porsche’s European dealership first on May 8th of this year at a pricing of 65,900 Euro
